Natalee Min is the Controller for McDowell Properties and she joined the company in January 2019. Ms. Min is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting and tax functions. The accounting functions include but not limited to overseeing the monthly financial review of all property owners and upper tier entities of the company, timely financial reporting to institutional investors, coordinating and assisting financial analysis for the company’s investment and divestment opportunities, assisting in annual budgeting process and overseeing the compliance of accounting and reporting procedures in place. The tax functions include but not limited to coordinating and overseeing year-round projects from tax planning to tax compliance for federal and all other applicable state tax matters.
Prior to joining McDowell Properties, Ms. Min spent about seven years in the real estate industry, in both public accounting and private sector. She started her career in Tax at Ernst & Young – San Francisco office and her most recent role prior was as a Tax Manager at Digital Realty LP, headquartered in San Francisco. In her previous roles, she focused on tax planning, structuring, research and compliance for real estate investment companies, especially real estate investment trusts (REITs).
Ms. Min graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo with a BS degree in Business Administration - Accounting. She is a California licensed Certified Public Accountant (inactive status) and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
